Mwalimu National Sacco has paid the 2023 dividends for 2022 savings. The payments for Advance Against expected rebates for financial year 2022 was rolled out with effect from 23rd July 2022 at 50% of the earned interest rebates for financial year ended 31st December 2021.

Members started receiving 75 percent of the expected dividends from January 4th, 2023.

RE: ADVANCE AGAINST EXPECTED REBATE FOR FINANCIAL YEAR  2022

The Advance Against expected rebates for financial year 2022 was rolled out with effect from 23rd July 2022 at 50% of the earned _interest rebates for financial year ended 31st December 2021.

The board in their meeting held on 29th December 2022 approved enhancement of the accessible amount to 75% of the interest rebates earned for financial year ended 31st December 2021 based on the deposits balance then. The facility will be at a flat interest rate of 7.5% of the amount accessed down from the previous 10% and subject to all other eligibility criteria.

Any subsequent application for the advance will be on a top up basis the same way bridging facility operates. A member who would wish to access additional advance for those who had earlier benefited on the 50% should therefore apply for a higher amount than the existing balance bearing in mind the desired take home amount being the top up.

Members who may have defaulted on any lending product of the SACCO or with arrears are NOT eligible for this product unless their accounts are regularized.
