Tragedy and fate the current Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, candidates are synonymous. How can a generation be this unlucky.

Well. Fast forward, the current KCSE candidates were born at around 2007; or there about. At this time the country had sunk into the abyss of political turbulence. Kenya was faced with the worst political skirmishes to have ever been witnessed so far. Several people lost their lives with thousands becoming internally displaced.

Thirteen years later, the born 2007 kids were to sit for their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, KCPE, exams and Corona crept up. They were forced to do the exams a year later in 2021.

And before they exit high school, another tragedy in the form of floods has struck once again. This has prompted to postpone the reopening date for term 2.

The kids will have to wait and see with hopes that the rains will subside soon.
