TSC intern recruitment into Permanent terms- Verification list of documents

It is a joy when your terms of employment are changed from Contractual to permanent and pensionable. When preparing for the TSC (Teachers Service Commission) recruitment verification, it’s essential to ensure that all required documents are in order and certified by the TSC County or Sub County Director.

The verification process is crucial, as it helps establish your qualifications and readiness to serve in the teaching profession. Below is a detailed overview of the required documents and their significance.

1. Degree/Diploma Certificate: This document proves your academic qualifications. It’s vital to have the original and a certified copy, ensuring it reflects your education level accurately.

2. Official Academic Transcripts: Transcripts provide a detailed record of your academic performance throughout your studies. They should be official and clearly display your courses and grades.

3. KCSE Certificate: The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificate is crucial as it verifies your completion of secondary education and your eligibility for higher education.

4. KCPE Certificate: The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) certificate serves as proof of your completion of primary education and is necessary for assessing your educational background.

5. Primary School Leaving Certificate: This document complements your KCPE certificate, providing additional evidence of your primary education history.

6. Secondary School Leaving Certificate: Similar to the primary leaving certificate, this document verifies your secondary school education.

7. National ID (both sides): A clear copy of your National ID is necessary for identity verification. Ensure both sides are included to avoid delays.

8. Affidavit for Name Initials (if applicable): If there are discrepancies in your name or if initials differ, an affidavit clarifying this is needed to maintain consistency across documents.

9. Teacher Registration Certificate/Evidence of Application:  This confirms your registration status with the TSC and shows your intention to practice as a teacher.

10. 2 Passport-size Photos: These are typically required for identification purposes and must meet the specified size and quality standards.

11. Bank Plate (ATM):  A clear copy of your bank plate, showing your account number, is essential for processing payments and verifying your financial information.

12. Duly Filled Pay Point Particulars:  This form, downloadable from the TSC website, must be filled out accurately to ensure correct payment processing.

13. KRA Pin Certificate: This certificate is necessary for tax identification and compliance with Kenya Revenue Authority regulations.

14. NHIF Card: Your National Hospital Insurance Fund card is crucial for health insurance coverage, demonstrating your commitment to health care.

15. NSSF Card: The National Social Security Fund card is required to show your contributions to social security, which is important for your long-term financial security.

B. GP 69 Form from a Government Doctor: This health form certifies your fitness for duty, a requirement for teaching professionals.

C. Commitment Letter:  A signed commitment letter to serve in your current station for at least five years is crucial, as it demonstrates your willingness to dedicate time to your role and the community you serve.

Make sure to have all photocopies clear and legible. This meticulous preparation will streamline the verification process, ensuring that you meet all requirements for a successful recruitment into the teaching service.
