KCSE 2024 revised & final timetable free download
Schools have already uploaded marks for subjects with a Project component to the Knec Portal.
The KCSE candidates have already had their rehearsal day that was scheduled on October 18, 2024 as provided in the timetable for their examination.
The orals practical and foreign papers starting are to be done on October 22, 2024 to November 1, 2024.
The written examination papers that are normally taken by many learners commence officially on November 4 with English Paper One Functional Writing being the first session.
Then the Chemistry Paper One will be the next in the afternoon on this same day.
Based on the timetable, the first session papers will be held in the morning hours of between 8:00am to around 10.30am however this will depend onthe duration of the paper.
There shall be a break from 10.30 am to 2 p.m before paving way for second session papers that are scheduled in the afternoon from 2.00pm to around 4:00pm or 4.30pm. During the break, Centre Managers will return the morning session scripts and pick those for the after lunch ones.
This year’s KCSE examination will end on November 22, 2024 as Physics paper three, Practical will be the last paper.

During last year’s KNEC examinations , the council introduced a policy whereby examination papers are collected twice a day , an exercise that was done by the Centre Managers.
The measures above were improvised in a bid to curb early exposure of the afternoon papers to examination fraudsters.
According to the KNEC CEO Dr. David Njengere, immediately after the first session examination in the morning,all the Centre Managers are expected to return those papers to the container for the collection of the second session paper.
Just like last year, the second paper is to be collected at exactly 12.30pm and they will be administered at 2pm across all schools.
