Past School Term Dates and Calendars
The Ministry of education has released the 2023 term dates for all Teachers Training Colleges (TTCs). Secondary school trainee teachers will report for their term one on 4th September, 2023 with the term lasting for 11 weeks. They will close for holiday from 19th November, 2023 to 31st December, 2023.

Their counterparts (undertaking Diploma in Primary Teacher Education) will reopen on 3rd May, 2021 for term one which will last for 14 weeks; with the closing day slated for August 6, 2021.
The term dates are contained in the Ministry of Education Circular dated December 3, 2020 and titled ‘RE: SCHOOL CALENDARS FOR YEARS 2020, 2021, 2022 AND 2023- REVISED TERM DATES FOR PRE-PRIMARY, PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS AND TEACHERS TRAINING COLLEGES’.
