The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has transferred school principals en masse from the larger Nyanza and Western Kenya regions in the latest reshuffles,.
According to the commission this is a normal exercise aimed at realizing equitable distribution and optimal utilization of resources.
List of Transferred Principals- Nyanza and Western
Madam Florence Omondi has been transferred from Ng’iya Girls to Sinyolo Girls. Meanwhile, Madam Hellen Juma has moved from Ng’iya Girls to Ogande Girls.
Dr. Jennifer Otolo, former principal Ogande Girls, has been relocated to Ng’iya Girls. Mr. Okoth Bonventure, who was previously at St Mary’s School Yala, has been transferred to Riokindo High School.
Similarly, Mr. Victor Omondi Makanda, the school head at St Anthony’s Boys High Kitale, has moved to St Mary’s School Yala.
On the other hand, Mr. Edward Wachilonga has been transferred from Riokindo Boys to Chavakali Boys. Mr. Stephen Abong’o, who was previously at St Joseph’s Rapogi, has been moved to Ringa Boys.
In the same vein, Mr. Erastus Nyangwa has been transferred from Ratanga to St Joseph’s Rapogi. Mr. Nicholas Ochieng’, former principal Uriri High School, has moved to Ratanga.
Kaplong High Principal Mr. Sang has been transferred to Kabianga High in Kericho County.
Charles Hongo, the head of Nambale Boys High School in Busia County has been relocated to Shikunga High School in Kakamega County. During his tenure at Nambale Boys High School, significant improvements were witnessed in academic results and students’ behavior.
Taking over Charles Hongo’s position at Nambale Boys High School is Tom Amadi, who previously served as the principal of Kamusinde Secondary School in Bungoma County.
Solomon Sisuma, former Principal Otieno Oyoo Boys High School in Kisumu County, has now assumed the role of school head at Koyonzo Boys High School, located nearby. He succeeded Boaz Adit.
Mr Kennedy Nyamwolo has taken up the position of head at St. Peter’s Nakalira Secondary School in Kimilili sub-county, replacing the retired Moses Mabonga. Prior to this reassignment, Kennedy Nyamwolo served as the head of St. Paul’s Lugari Boys High School.
Another change involves Rose Berda, who has been transferred from Our Lady of Mercy Chebukaka Girls High School in Kabuchai sub-county to lead Achego Girls High School in Kisumu County.
