St. Mary’s Boys Secondary School in Nyeri was established in 1962 by the Catholic Diocese of Nyeri.
It was initially a Catholic diocesan private boys’ school, with administration later taken over by the Christian Brothers in 1990, and it provided both traditional high school education and a child rescue center.
It is known for character formation and a “Give us a boy, we give you a man” ethos.
It hosts a regular secondary school, a technical school, and a rescue program.
