Verdict of the Kisumu Day appeal against Agoro Sare.

Kisumu Day loses appeal against Agoro Sare’s win at the 2023 Nyanza Region Term 2 Games.

Agoro given green light to represent Nyanza at the National games in Kakamega.

In a rejoinder, Kisumu Day Coach Mr. Booker Odhiambo has already conceded defeat. Earlier, Kisumu Day had protested their 7 vs 6 loss to Agoro Sare in the Nyanza Region Soccer Boys final.

In their please, Kisumu Day wanted Agoro’s win overturned for fielding an ‘ineligible’ player.

“Good afternoon. KD Kisumu Day) has lost appeal against Agoro sare on technicality. The Ministry is saying that Usenge never released the student from their Nemis and therefore Dagoretti was using the student illegally. I have accepted the verdict, down but not yet out. There is a plan B. Have a good day”~ Booker.

The Regional office has since released the verdict, below;

“The case between kisumu Day and Agorosare has been upheld due to lack of authenticated documents presented as evidence and Geoffrey omondi is a continuing student at Agorosare who reported last year in form 2 and is now in form 3.Hence not a repeater.

Therefore Agoro sare represents Nyanza Region in term 2 games at Kakamega Region Kakamega county. Letter to follow to schools.”
