APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Welcome to the KUCCPS Student’s Portal! 

Please read the following instructions carefully before applying for placement.

Eligibility

• Kenyan Citizens are eligible.
• Applicants must possess Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results.

Application Process

• All programmes have minimum requirements. You will only be able to apply for a course whose minimum requirements you satisfy. Placement will consider merit and your choices. Your likelihood of getting a course that you apply for will depend on your performance, the number of applicants for the same course and the available capacity/vacancies in the course.
• You may view the available programmes and their requirements by clicking the Programmes tab. You can also search for courses by clicking the Institutions; then checking the courses under the institution of your choice.
• Once you have decided on your preferred courses, you will be required to enter the Programme Codes only.
• To apply, use the Application/Revision tab. Enter the Programme Codes in the provided form. The form has blank slots for submitting four courses. You are required to type the Programme Codes of your preferred courses into the provided spaces, which are numbered from 1 to 4. Arrange the courses in your order of priority, starting with your most preferred course at number 1.
• Once you have entered the programme codes for all the courses that you want, click Submit.
• You will be required to pay Ksh1,500 and the portal will display the payment instructions.

Payment Procedure

1. On clicking the Submit button in the online application form, a pop-up will be displayed with a “Proceed to Pay” link.
2. Click on the Proceed to Pay link that will take you to the payment platform.
3. Choose your preferred payment method from the provided options (M-PESA, Kenya Commercial Bank, RTGS, Airtel Money) and proceed to pay as provided for each method.
4. For M-PESA, click on the respective button and the payment details will be displayed that include Business Number (222222), a random Account Number and the expected amount. Enter your M-PESA PIN and Send. (The payment platform also provides for STK push.)
5. Use the provided Account Number to submit the application. DO NOT use the MPESA transaction code. (The same Account Number will be required for any subsequent changes to your application; hence, you are advised to retain it.)
6. After you have successfully paid and submitted, the system will display a message indicating that the application was successful.
7. On the Dashboard, you will see your successful application.
