Kuccps advises KCSE 2020 students to apply for Courses at Counties

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has asked the KCSE 2020 Candidates to apply for courses at designated county offices.

Instead of visiting cyber cafes the students can now get free placement application services at 48 centres countrywide.

The 48 centres are located in Colleges, Public universities, Polytechnics, Huduma Centres and Technical training institutes.

“Between May 31st and June 5th, 2021, visit the following institutions for support in course selection and application for placement and government sponsorship to universities and colleges”, reads the latest notice by the placement agency.

” Candidates who were not able to apply for placement or wish to change will have the opportunity to submit their choices or review their applications, ” adds KUCCPS.

The agency has, at the same time, warned applicants against online fraudsters.

All the 143,140 candidates who scored the minimum university grade of C+(plus) and above at the 2020 KCSE examinations will get places at the universities.

The universities have already declared a capacity of 160,160, TVETs have a combined capacity of 331,045. This means all the 2020 KCSE candidates will be placed at the institutions of higher learning.
