KUCCPS 2023/2024 Portal now open
The 2024 KUCCPS Portal for colleges and universities placement has been opened by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu.
According to CS Machogu, KUCCPS will place all qualified candidates to various programmes based on merit and choice to Universities, Colleges, National Polytechnics and other Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
CS Machogu has made this directive after getting satisfied that the Placement Service has met the conditions of the new model, having verified and published all the fees details of all programmes in their website.

After the placement, these students will be expected to contact their respective institutions for joining instructions and guidance on how to apply for the Government scholarships and loans, which will be issued in accordance with the funding model.
CS MAchogu announced that students who will select courses in Public Universities will be eligible to access both the Government scholarships and loans, while those who will select Private Universities will be eligible to Government loans only.
“If one wants to join a private university within Kenya, we will be able to place him or her there, but the government will not give them a scholarship. They will only access loans from the Higher Education Board, Helb.” Said the CS.
He urged all students to apply for the courses that they desire and qualify for, so that we complete the transition from secondary education to higher education. We do not want to leave any student behind.
The CS directed KUCCPS to partner with Huduma centre’s to ensure students apply from all parts of the country. KUCCPS officers will be sent out for personalised support to students, parents and members of the public.
