Secondary school teachers’ TSC Promotion Interviews are ongoing in various counties across the country and are set to be concluded on January 16, 2024.

The focus is on secondary school educators at grades C3 to D.

Among those interviewed are teachers aspiring for promotion to Deputy Principal III at T-Scale 11, with 1,014 positions targeted for filling.

Additionally, 1,137 Senior Master III positions at T-Scale 10 and 216 Senior Lecturer IV positions at Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs) nationwide will be filled, both falling under T-Scale 9.

The Teacher Service Commission (TSC) aims to address 12,576 regular secondary school teaching positions at the same grade (T-Scale 9).

Interviews will also seek to occupy 1,918 slots for Secondary Teacher I at T-Scale 8.
