Question: I have made an error while paying. What should I do?

Answer: E-mail us the transaction details (transaction code and phone number used in making the payment) via with a request to reverse. Reversals take at up to seven days.

Question: What are the common errors made when making payments?

Answer: – Failure to use the correct IPay Bill No. (820201) – Incorrect account number – Incorrect transaction code (typing letter O instead of zero (0); letter I instead of number 1 and letter U instead of V).

Question: I have paid but when I submit the code I get a response that the payment is not found. What is the problem?

Answer: It takes up to five minutes for payments to reflect in the system, so you should keep submitting the code till it accepts.

Question: Do I have to pay for the Third Revision of Choices?

Answer: You need not pay again if you paid during the previous revision exercise. Use the same M-Pesa transaction code.

Question: How can I know whether I am required to do a third revision?

Answer: On to your portal (dashboard), you will see a message informing you to revise your choices. An SMS has also been forwarded to the phone number you submitted with the application.

Question: How can I know whether I have provisionally secured a course?

Answer: Log in to your Student’s Portal and you will find the information on the Dashboard.

Question: I have provisionally secured one of the courses I applied for, but which one is it and where?

Answer: You will be provided with those details during the official release of the placement results at the end of the process.

Question: I have not secured any of the courses I applied for at the second revision yet I met all the minimum requirements!

Answer: Applicants compete for limited vacancies and some are left out due to the competition. You should select other courses during the third revision.

Question: What if I do not like the remaining courses?

Answer: You can choose the best of the available courses then try and change the course later, after placement, during the inter-institutional transfers.

Question: I cannot find some courses on the portal yet they were there during the first and second revision of choices. Why have you removed them?

Answer: Courses that are already full are no longer available for application. Please apply for the available programmes.

Question: When I enter a programme code on the application form, it indicates the programme is unavailable. What does that mean?

Answer: The programme is filled up or is not on the KUCCPS portal for this year’s placement of government-sponsored students.
