FUNDING FOR STUDENTS
- Students placed by KUCCPS to public universities, Colleges and TVETs are eligible to apply for the Government Scholarship administered by the Universities Fund (UF) and the Government Loan administered by the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB). Both are applied for simultaneously on the HELB/ HEF Portal
- Students placed in private universities are eligible to apply for the Government (HELB) Loan only.
- Students placed in Ministry of Education TVET Institutions are eligible to apply for the Government Scholarship and the Government (HELB) Loan.
- All funding applications are submitted online through the Higher Education Financing (HEF/ HELB) portal.
- HELB and UF will announce the 2026 student Loan and Scholarship application dates upon completion of placement.
