KCSE results to be announced on Monday January 8th 2024; How to get yours

The 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam results will be announced at Moi Girls, Eldoret on Monday 8th January, 2023.

The 903,260 candidates who sat for the exams in November, 2023 will know their fate on Monday morning.

The 2023 KCSE results are especially significant because they align with the introduction of a new grading scheme designed to increase university admissions.

The redesigned structure, which was unveiled in August, drops the requirement from five subjects to just two in order to determine the candidate’s final score.

Under the new grading scheme, mathematics and any language (English, Kiswahili, or National Sign Language) will be required subjects.

This is the first time that the new KCSE grading system will be used.

Knec has determined a candidate’s grade by using Mathematics, English or Kiswahili and any other well performed five subjects.
