Nyambaria High school posted impressive results at the KCSE 2023 exams just as was the case in the KCSE 2022 exams. All the KCSE 2023 candidates proceeded to university.
This is despite the Knec officers camping at the school for many days. The Nyamira county based National school has indeed surprised many in this year’s exams.
In the 2022 KCSE exams, Nyambaria emerged the top school nationally.

Nyamira School Floors Traditional Giants to Top 2022 KCSE with 10.8 Mean Score .
Nyambaria Boys High School from Nyamira county could be the best school in the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.
The school posted a mean grade score of 10.89, outdoing itself among the traditional academic giants who had edged over others for years on end. 8-score. The school had 488 candidates writing this year’s examinations.
Of the total candidates, 28 scored straight As; 383 finalists secured a mean grade of A-(minus). Seventy-six candidates attained a B+ (plus), with only one getting a B (plain).
The exemplary performance has been attributed to Boaz Owino, the school’s former principal who once headed the iconic Maranda Boys High School.
Despite the school being under the stewardship of Charles Onyari currently, a section of netizens attributed the feat to the former principal. Owino retired late last year and the cohort that performed well in the school’s history is said to have been prepared during his tenure.
