Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).

All Kenyans above the age of 18 years are eligible to vie in these Grassroots Elections. However, to occupy a position as a Grassroots official, you MUST be a REGISTERED Member of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party.

Note: If you decide to register for higher levels of Elections, you will still be required to participate and succeed in lower levels of Elections in order to meet the eligibility criteria for subsequent Elections.

For instance, if your intention is to compete for the positions of Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson at the Constituency level, you must first participate and emerge victorious at the Polling Center and Ward levels for any position.

The only individuals exempted from this requirement are Elected Leaders who successfully contested in the 2022 Kenya General Elections under the UDA ticket.

These leaders are eligible to compete in the Grassroots Elections for any position at the level they were elected without having to vie for positions in the lower electoral units.
