The 2022 KCSE results will be released today; Friday 20th January, 2023.

The results will be announced by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu; at the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) offices after briefing President William Ruto.

Marking of the Christian Religious Education (CRE) exams is complete. CRE Paper 1 Examiners had downed their tools demanding more pay. This is what delayed the release of the results.

Marking of other papers had been completed by end of last week.

The 2022 national tests were administered between February 28 and April 1, 2022.

KNEC administered the KCSE exam to some 884,263 learners who sat the tests last year. Out of this, 420,845 were female while 405,962 were male.
