TSC gives clarifications on implementation of TPAD and PC

The Teachers Service Commission, TSC, has given very important clarifications on how to implement the 2021 term 2 Teacher Performance Appraisal and Development (TPAD) and Performance Contracting (PC) for teachers.

The Commission has moved to address difficulties experienced by teachers in trying to comply with implementation of the two tools; TPAD and PC.

Via a circular dated January 20,2021 the Commission has directed that all data for both term 2 and 3 be done on the active term i.e term 2. The Commission has at the same time directed heads of institutions to strictly follow the TPAD calendar of activities.

Other addressed issues include: how to carry out lesson observations, missing schools, mapping of schools and reversal of the ‘not on duty’procedure; among others.
