Chogoria Boys High School’s Location.

Chogoria Boys High School is located in Chogoria, Tharaka-Nithi County, Kenya. The school was established in 1962 by the local community with support from education leaders and church involvement.

It began as a small secondary school with only a few students and limited facilities.
In its early years, the school operated using temporary classrooms because permanent buildings had not yet been fully developed. The community, together with the government and the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA), worked together to expand and improve the school.
As time went on, the school grew steadily in both size and performance. It changed from a small community school into a well-established boys’ boarding school, attracting students from different parts of the country.

Today, Chogoria Boys High School is known as a strong academic institution with improved facilities, a large student population, and active participation in both academics and co-curricular activities.
